Plates and Kitchen Colors!

One thing Seth and I have both been looking forward to is having our own kitchen. While we love roommates, we also love the idea of having our own fridge, our own plates, bowls, spoons, and sure-to-be clean pots and pans!

We're looking forward to having a lot of company, so we've registered for a lot of "presentation ware" that we think will be perfect for our fancy nights in or our sublime parties we're sure to throw!

After thinking long and hard, we decided to use Cream & Brick Red in our kitchen, with some Brown and Tan accents. It's HARD to decide what colors to use in the kitchen! I'm really excited about the brick red and cream though, we're getting an almond colored kitchenaid and then have a lot of tan-ish chrome appliances, so it should come together well!

For our Dining Room Colors, we're going to mix it up and have some silvery blue and sage colors:



Dishes Dishes Dishes. So FUN to pick out. We decided for our every day ware to go with a combination of Linen and Taupe dishes from a big set. So we'll have half and half of the following:

and Linen

Pretty, huh?

And then for our fancy tableware, we're so excited. Most people know that I'm a little obsessed with pearls. I like dots and I love classy pearls, so we found the perfect dishes! If you look closely, you'll see the raised "pearl" dots--



It's kind of hard to see, but in person it's so pretty!
